My parents and some friends of theirs once went on a boating holiday
together, and later had a reunion.
The theme of the reunion was the trial of the pirates.
The charge for which they were tried was, "Failing to deliver on
promises of rape and pillage".
(I think they were found guilty. But how would Dutch pirates fare at
such a trial?)
